Ice Cream Shop | Dramatic Play Set Up

Summer time is here and we were ready for a change in our play room, so we turned our play kitchen area into an Ice Cream Shop dramatic play center. You can purchase the printable here!

As for I set it up, I used balled up tissue paper for the ice cream (I also added to some brown marks on the green paper to resemble “mint chip” ice cream). For the cones I cut out a half circle from brown paper and rolled them into cones. I found cute pink ice cream cups and a scooper at Dollar Tree.

For the chocolate sauce, I painted the inside of an old water bottle by putting in some brown acrylic paint and just a bit of rubbing alcohol and shaking up. Make sure to hot glue the lid on so your little can’t open it.

For the cherries I used some red pom poms that you can get at any craft store. I added the sprinkles label to the play salt shaker that we already had.

I decided to laminate the Order Form cards so that we could reuse them again with an expo marker!
